CHASSIS-DYNO TESTING
SLP Performance Parts is offering comprehensive chassis-dyno testing services. Unlike
typical garages or speed shops with chassis dynos, SLP's test facility was designed and constructed from the
ground up with the goal of providing the most advanced, OEM-quality dynamometer testing
services available. As such, it boasts state-of-the-art features you will not find at other less
specialized testing facilities, according to all of the media that have seen our engineering center.
DYNO-BASED PCM TUNING
During the course of developing our all-encompassing Gen III performance-parts lineup, SLP's engineers became intimately
familiar with the LS1/LS6/LS2/LS3/LS7 power-train control module (PCM) and the methods by which it can best be tuned for
enhanced performance and drivability. Unlike other manufacturers "generic" programs, each of our custom tunes are tailored to
match your specific application and performance requirements. In addition to basic changes such as speedometer corrections
and rev-limiter adjustments, our advanced tuning packages include SLP's proprietary Spark Advance and Custom Fuel Mapping.
While results will differ based on the type and number of modifications performed on a given engine, even stock or lightly
modified vehicles will typically pick up between 15-20 horsepower with our PCM3 tuning, or go all out by utilizing our
SuperFlow dynamometer and get the ultimate custom tune for your vehicle.

WHAT SETS SLP APART FROM OTHER DYNO FACILITIES?
- All tests are performed on a SuperFlow AutoDyn dynamometer operated by our highly trained staff of professional engineers and auto technicians. The Super Flow dyno uses a dual eddy-current brake for the ultimate in testing accuracy.
- We employ an optical wheel-speed sensor to ensure proper tire-to-chassis-roll contact.
- Testing is entirely computer-controlled, eliminating the possibility of operator error.
- Fast-acting, in-manifold monitoring equipment provides ultra-precise air/fuel measurements.
- Test-to-test control of engine and transmission temperatures yields accurate, repeatable results.
- Every customer receives a detailed personalized report that includes information on crucial engine parameters such as air/fuel ratio, spark advance, and injector pulse width.
- All horsepower and torque figures are corrected to SAE standards.
- Various options and test configurations are available to suit a wide range of budgets and performance needs.
- A color print out will accompany all dyno tests.
