SLP's painting facility was designed and constructed with the goal of providing the most advanced
OEM-quality services available. As such, it boasts a state-of-the-art painting booth and features you
will not find at other less specialized facilities.

was the second company in the state of New Jersey to offer PPG’S Waterborne
paint.

installation services of select appearance products at competitive pricing.
Unlike typical body shops with basic paint booths that are not familiar with aftermarket body parts,
you’ll find our pricing and workmanship is second to none.
Our paint booth is a brand new semi-down draft spray booth built from the ground-up with a special
air-drying system built in and features a 3-stage filtering system for top quality workmanship.
All the paint mixing is computer driven; using the most sophisticated mixing technology available
today to ensure proper color code accuracy each and every time.

PPG’S WATERBORNE ENVIRO BASE HIGH PERFORMANCE PAINT
Improving the environment is important to SLP so going green with PPG's Waterborne
Automotive Paint System was an easy choice.
Since waterborne contains lower volatile organic compounds (VOC) than solvent,
it is easier to control the air quality inside a shop or spray facility. While standard
safety equipment is still required, we virtually eliminated the harsh odors associated
with using solvent borne paint throughout our facility promoting a better health and
safety environment for our employees too.
PPG's History of Waterborne Research and Development
No other company has more expertise in advancing waterborne automotive coatings technology
than PPG. Long before most of North America's body shops had even given though to waterborne
finishes, PPG was already immersed in it. That's because PPG saw the environmental handwriting
on the wall even before it was written and for the past two decades has been developing and refining
its technological expertise in both North America and Europe. Having worked closely with OEMs in
their transition to waterborne at vehicle assembly plants, PPG scientists understood early on that the
refinish industry would have to move away from solvent-based paints.
